Finally had a minute to sit down and reflect on this weekend's past minis...

My heart is overflowing with gratitude for each and every soul that joined me down on that HOT HOT beach Saturday and Sunday. It was but a moment in your story, and I hope we captured something special for you all

I thought today, I'd share my "artists heart" with you all...

SO many people have asked me WHY I give away these minis every year. You would be shocked at the amount of times I need to answer these questions...

~YES, I agree that it doesn't seem like the best business decision, however sometimes the best decision for your business comes from the heart.

~NO, it is not a bait and switch scheme.

~Yes it is a gigantic amount of work on me. I welcome it.

~ No, I am not afraid that people won't value it.

~ YES, they are entirely free for those that participate.

~No, I don't limit it or only choose only "model" families.

~ They are MY mission. That is why...

My heart has always been to bless families with my art. That has morphed into many different forms as my business has gone on, and I understand that not everyone can afford to book me at my current rate. However, I believe that EVERY family deserves a chance to have beautiful memories of their own at least once in a lifetime. That is why I do these minis every year- no questions asked.

It is very important to me to give back to a community that has supported and blessed me beyond explanation and so, THAT IS MY WHY.
