Let me tell you about the day that the Delaney Family came into my heart…

S T O R Y T I M E !!!

It was a normal Thursday, and I was out running errands. My cell phone pings with my current text message notification and it basically said “ Hey Kelly, my wife is in labor and we didn’t have time to book you…” Not to abnormal for me, but I dropped everything and said “Great, text me when he’s here!”

As i walked into the recovery room and saw this heart-stoppingly adorable little family, I knew they were my people. Baby Carter had a few slight complications during birth and when I saw him, he had his legs WAY up from being breech for awhile. He reminded me of the softest, cutest little cowboy I had ever seen!

Our quiet, calm, and reflective session was amazing and as we shot, I learned this couples story~ I will not go into details here, but suffice it to say that Baby Carter has been LONGED for a very long time.

THIS mama y’all - she and her hubby fought hard for this baby. I wanted to celebrate their brand new and VERY longed for baby by showing him curled up on his mamas womb and nestled in her arms because her heart has prayed and wished for this for SUCH a long time!!! I feel that yearning each and every day and needed to document it in the best way i knew how...
