Storytelling Feature: F R E S H B A B E S

So, thanks to the “stay at home” orders raging ALL around me, I am not shooting. Haven’t shot in 41 days (besides creating films for my kiddos) and I am ITCHING. Really badly…. enter, my genius idea.

{Side note: isn’t it funny how all our ideas come when we CAN’T put them into action? Like in the middle of the night, during an argument that should have started differently, when our kids are ALREADY grown out of that stage, or during a world wide pandemic?!?}

Weekly Storytelling Features!

I decided to spend time in celebration of all the sessions that have already come and gone.

To spend time and story efforts on diving deeper into the story behind the images I share.

To create and write and explain and inspire through focusing on some of my favorite moments in shooting.

They won’t be weekly necessarily, but they will showcase my absolutely treasured memories from the lens of a storyteller… hang on, it is going to be an emotional ride!

Y'all... I have been waiting for this feature. I have been literally DYING this month because I have not gotten to hold and squish and document these fascinating tiny creatures. 

It is no secret that I LOVE babies. Since I was 2 years old and "pretend" nursed my babies along side with my mama who was nursing my new baby brother... it has been a thing with me. I babysat my cousins way earlier than normal because I was always responsible with babies. They're my "thing". I am currently now even paying someone to help us create our own babies... (yes, ironically enough- I have had trouble growing my own despite the ridiculous desire/need/want to... it's okay- it will make HIS story and plan for our family even more amazing when it does happen <3 ) 

Fast forward 30 (ish) years... my arms are still empty but thanks to my job and my passion, my heart is not. I have been able to interact with and help brand new babies ALL over the US! This week, we are featuring 

F R E S H B A B E S...

I am convinced there is not a sweeter thing on this planet than the sigh of a newborn as they lie contentedly in your arms. So, we are documenting those moments this week. The first cry, the first finger grab, the first time you held your adorable new one... all the way down to their tiny eyelashes and finger nails. 

I am going full on BABY around here and I hope you'll follow along on the journey!
